1883 Restaurant
Named for the year of Dullstroom’s founding, 1883 is a fine food establishment where hunger meets heart and where the charm of Dullstroom is represented in every dish. 1883 is the set upon the original foundations of the Dunkeld Estate farmhouse. 1883 uses fresh local produce and wholesome ingredients for all the menu items.
Our chef has a passion for fine dining and his team brings a delicious à la carte menu to diners with fresh, local produce in each meal. The trout for which the area is so well-known for, features in some of the dishes and comes highly recommended. Pair this with a bottle from the extensive wine selection for a memorable dining experience in this beautiful country setting.

For private events, our restaurant can host functions for up to 30 people and for meetings, the formal boardroom accommodates 12 delegates.
