Weddings

Accommodation
  • Bride and groom stay complimentary for the weekend
  • 12 hotel rooms available at R550.00 per person per night bed and breakfast
  • 1 x 2 sleeper chalet at R250.00 per person per night (room only)
  • 7 x 4 sleeper units available at R250.00 per person per night
Chapel Hire
  • Should you wish to have your ceremony in our chapel there will be a R1 800.00 Venue hire applicable
Outside Ceremony
  • Dunkeld has various locations on the grounds should you wish to have your ceremony outside (Weather permitting). A set-up fee of R1 000.00 will be charged.
Venue Hire
  • Our banqueting hall is available for your reception at R8 000.00.
Marquees Hire
  • Dunkeld can provide you with a Marquees tent at R3 500.00 should you wish to have your reception or ceremony inside the marquees tent.
Time
  • You may have the use of the room the entire day of your wedding to set up. Goods that forms part of the table setting process should reach the wedding coordinator at Dunkeld no later than the day before the wedding.
Set Up
  • You can do your setup from 08h00 on the day of your wedding.
Seating
  • The ideal number of persons around one table is 8, but tables can accommodate 10.
  • Please note that seating arrangements are to be finalized with the wedding coordinator at least 1 week prior to your wedding.
  • We can seat a maximum of 120 guests if you want a dancefloor and 150 guests should you not take a dancefloor.
Linen
  • Dunkeld provides white tablecloths and serviettes.
  • Overlays, colors and table settings to be agreed upon at least 6 months prior to your wedding.
  • Should you wish to use coloured overlays we can hire them in for you. Quotation on request.
Cutlery
  • Dunkeld provide the cutlery, crockery and glasses for your wedding.
Menus
  • You should choose one of the three buffet menus provided and contact Dunkeld’s wedding coordinator at least two weeks before your wedding.
  • Dunkeld can provide printed menus for your tables.
Waiters
  • Dunkeld provides all waiter staff for your wedding.
Guests
  • The final number of guests should be forwarded to the wedding coordinator at least three weeks to your wedding.
Tableplan
  • Your table plan should be forwarded to the wedding coordinator at least one week in advance, as well as any special name tags etc.
Flowers
  • Dunkeld can recommend various florists.
  • Should you wish to use your own, Dunkeld cannot accept responsibility for late florists.
Bar
  • Ask the wedding coordinator to forward our wine and bar list to you.
  • A list of specific preferred liquor should be forwarded to Dunkeld’s wedding coordinator at least two weeks in advance to ensure availability.
Music
  • We can recommend DJ’s and musicians for your wedding on request
Dance Floor
  • We can hire a dance floor in for you. Quotation on request.
Children
  • Children between age 0-3, no catering charges.
  • Children between age 4-11, 50% off package price.
  • Children 12 years and older, full catering charges.
Baby sitting
  • Baby sitting facilities available at R40 per child per hour, or a part thereof.
  • To be billed directly to account of guest requiring this service.
Catering
  • Various options for menu’s, please discuss with the wedding coordinator your own ideas and our Chef would be glad to assist where ever he can.
Account
  • VThe initial quote and provisional booking for your date is valid for only 14 days, after which a 50% securing deposit are needed to secure the venue or your specific date. The rest of your account will be settled on departure.
